The rules of exams.
- Arrive on Time: Be punctual and arrive at the exam venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Bring Necessary Materials: Ensure you have all required materials such as pens, pencils, erasers, calculators, and identification.
- No Electronic Devices: Leave all electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets, outside the exam room or turn them off.
- Follow Seating Arrangements: Sit in the designated seat as per the seating plan.
- Show ID: Present a valid identification card if requested by the invigilator.
- No Talking: Maintain silence from the moment you enter the exam room until you leave.
- Listen to Instructions: Pay attention to and follow all instructions given by the invigilator.
- No Cheating: Do not engage in any form of cheating, including copying from others or using unauthorized materials.
- No Plagiarism: Ensure all work submitted is your own and properly cited where necessary.
- Raise Hand for Assistance: If you have a question or need assistance, raise your hand and wait for the invigilator to approach.
- No Leaving Early: Do not leave the exam room within the first and last 30 minutes of the exam.
- Restroom Breaks: Request permission to use the restroom and follow the invigilator’s guidelines.
- Time Management: Keep track of time and adhere to the allocated duration for the exam.
- No Food or Drinks: Avoid bringing food or drinks into the exam room, unless allowed for medical reasons.
- Answer Booklets: Use only the provided answer booklets and sheets; do not use your own paper.
- Label Answers Correctly: Ensure all answers are clearly labeled with the correct question numbers.
- No Additional Notes: Do not bring in or use any notes or unauthorized materials.
- Submit All Materials: Hand in all exam materials, including rough work, before leaving the room.
- Remain Seated Until Dismissed: Stay seated and do not pack up until the invigilator signals the end of the exam and dismisses you.
- Report Issues: Immediately inform the invigilator of any irregularities, such as missing pages or unclear questions.
- Prohibited Items: Do not bring any items that are explicitly prohibited by the exam guidelines, such as textbooks, notes, or unauthorized aids.
- No Sharing: Do not share any materials, including pens, pencils, erasers, or calculators, with other students during the exam.
- Stay in Designated Area: Remain within the designated exam area and do not wander outside unless permitted by the invigilator.
- Clear Desk Policy: Ensure your desk is clear of any items not allowed during the exam, keeping only permitted materials in view.
- Sign Attendance Sheet: Sign the attendance sheet if required, to confirm your presence at the exam.
- Mark Correctly on Scantron Sheets: For multiple-choice exams, ensure you fill in the Scantron sheets correctly, following the instructions for marking answers.
- Follow Dress Code: Adhere to any dress code policies that may be in place for the exam setting, such as wearing a uniform or specific attire.
